The story

The poignant short documentary Kras, the directorial debut of director "from the border" Franco Giraldi, is dedicated to his home environment. Although he grew up in Trieste, he was born in the karst hinterland, in Komen. This precious lyrical short film foreshadows the poetics of the director in his mature years and tells us about a land that is not generous to people and their work and is stuck between the sea and the sky, even though it is far from the idea we have about it today.
